Growing up in Augusta provided me with a love of tradition and a sense of place. Even in the most unexpected places, I have found a story can be hidden.
Through the names we pass down, we remember the best parts of those who came before us. In the same way a family recipe is good for the soul, the memories that come with it are good for the heart. By retelling old stories, both the good and the imperfect stay with us.

If you would have told me before that I would move to Texas, I would have laughed at you! But here I am, attending Baylor University and soaking in all the beauty of this little town.

Stepping outside my comfort zone expanded my worldview and gave me a new love of travel and adventure.

WHERE I HAVE BEEN
All over the place
Ask me about the summer I traveled to five countries and 17 different states. The same summer, I spent two months staying in a convent, living on a poverty stipend and taking public transportation in Louisville, Kentucky. Talk about some stories!

What's next? I'm spending May in Kenya and who knows what's next from there! But I'll keep you updated!
